Production Supervisor responsibilities and duties Manage the technicians and ensure safe work environment for them. Plan and execute day to day works of technicians. Be responsible for battery & ESS builds and integrations. Understand designs to make and establish shop floor processes. Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency Build and Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job Assume responsibility for battery builds, manufacturing and shipping processes in the plant. Inspect products prior to shipment to ensure accurate labelling and record keeping. Manage inventory of parts. Record issues faced in builds and other shop floor processes. Ensure organized and clean shop floor at all times. Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management and executives. Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly Production Supervisor qualifications and skills Diploma with 5-7 years experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years experience in related field required Previous experience in a shop floor management / supervising is must. Ability to create and follow schedules and Processes. Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required. Should be aware about factory compliances. Must be able to maintain shop floor discipline and best practices. Needless to mention, must know using basic computer, Office software and cloud based web solutions.
