Qualification : Diploma, BE Mech/Production/Tool & Die making Purpose of Position Overall, responsible for managing the Molding department, focusing on productivity, quality, resource use, and troubleshooting. ensure raw materials are accounted for, drive continuous improvements, and train the Molding team on processes and optimization. Establish operating procedures, conduct Process FMEAs, and ensure compliance with ISMS, QMS, EHSMS, and EMSMS standards. Oversee operations during the second and night shifts, ensuring productivity, resource use, and adherence to procedures. Additionally, promote a Positive Behavior Management (PBM) culture among team members. Specific Responsibilities Ensure compliance to QMSEHSMS ISMS, driving continual improvement plans and CA. Ensure QMS & EHS Policies are understood throughout the department Develop and maintain SOPs, WIs, Formats required for the department, along with the team Develop FMEA, Control Plan and APQP documents related to Molding, along with the CFT Identifying improvement opportunities in processing and strive for excellence Establish systems in place as per Quality policy, participate in IQA and ensure observations' closure Participate in GLSS activities wherever assigned. To review the training needs for the section and recommend training when required. Provide on the job training to his team. Coordinate with HR for training. Maintaining housekeeping & ensuring safety measures Implement Dos & Donts per IATF ISO 9000, ISO 27001 & ISO 14001 standards. Any other projects/work assigned by management Maintain & protect the Information & data. PDCA for out of target conditions from DMB, initiate 8D for critical problems QN's To carry out SAP transaction in production module & monitor the same when delegated to SAP document controllersubordinates. Job Specification Skill Sets & Competencies Min 6- 8 yrs. of experience with 3 yrs. in Molding. Knowledge in Connector manufacturing process. Through knowledge about Molding machines and auxiliary equipment, Molding process, process optimization. Able to set up machine & auxiliaries and load/unload the Molds independently. Fair Knowledge about Mold Making and maintenance. Knowledge on Quality System ISO 9000, ISO 140001 & ISO 270001. Development of PFMEA, control plan and deployment within team Product quality measurement techniques Development of PFMEA, control plan and deployment within team knowledge about HIRA study, EMPs. SAP or equivalent MRP system with good understanding of batch management module. Basic SPC technique and its application Skilled in shop floor/maintenance performance monitoring Knowledge on Lean manufacturing tools & techniques Systematic problem solving technique, like PDCA, 8D Good Communication and presentation skill Learning Skills Leadership ability Training & Mentoring skills.
