ABOUT THE ROLE

Purpose of the Role:

The SME will lead the design, development and delivery of high-quality curriculum, learning journeys, interactive modules and assessment systems for advanced technology streams. They will work across domains, translate industry needs into training solutions, enable trainers, and ensure our learners are workplace-ready for roles in GCCs, School of AI programmes and client engagements.

Key Deliverables

  • Own the end-to-end content lifecycle for multiple technology tracks (e.g., Full Stack Java, Big Data, AI/ML, Generative AI, Cloud-native, DevOps) including curricula, learning paths, projects, case studies, assessments, trainer manuals and participant workbooks.
  • Map emerging industry trends (especially in GCCs and AI-led product development) into training programmes; validate with business stakeholders to ensure relevance.
  • Use instructional design best practices (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, active learning) to create learner-centric, practical modules that incorporate role-plays, group discussions, real-world case studies and hands-on labs.
  • Develop capstone projects and transaction-stories (especially for compliance or digital roles) that provide pattern-recognition and problem-solving ability.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions: enable internal trainers/facilitators to deliver the content with fidelity, coach them on facilitation techniques, ensure quality standards.
  • Monitor and audit programme delivery, collect feedback from learners/trainers/clients, iterate and improve content on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with LMS and instructional technology teams to upload, structure and maintain content; ensure tracking of learning metrics and certification readiness.
  • Serve as a subject-matter advisor in business development conversations when needed, showcasing our technology streams to clients and partnerships.
  • Stay abreast of latest developments (e.g., Generative AI, MLOps, cloud engineering) and proactively propose updates or new streams.

Job responsibility

Content Development

  • Create original learning material covering both

    conceptual and applied aspects

    of technologies such as:
  • Full Stack Development:

    HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, React/Angular, Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, SQL, DevOps.
  • Data & AI:

    Python, Data Science, Big Data, Spark, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, etc.).
  • Design assessments, projects, and case studies that simulate workplace challenges.
  • Apply

    instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy)

    to create structured, engaging, and outcomes-driven learning materials.

Trainer Enablement

  • Conduct

    Train-the-Trainer

    programs to ensure technical trainers understand course content deeply.
  • Audit and certify trainers for content delivery readiness and learner engagement.
  • Provide

    coaching and mentoring

    support to trainers and facilitators.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Work closely with the L&D team, Project Managers, and BU Heads to align course content with client needs.
  • Coordinate with LMS administrators to upload, structure, and maintain course content.

EXPECTED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: BE/B Tech, MCA, MTech or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology / related field.
  • Professional Experience: 6 10 years (or more) in software development, data engineering, AI/ML, full-stack development, or digital technology roles. Experience in curriculum/training development is a strong advantage.
  • Technical breadth: Demonstrable competence in one or more of the following domains:
  • Full Stack Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, Front-end frameworks)
  • Big Data / Data Engineering (Hadoop/Spark, Python/Java, Data Pipelines, ETL)
  • AI/ML, Deep Learning, Generative AI (LLMs, transformers, model deployment, MLOps)
  • Cloud-native and DevOps (AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, container orchestration)
  • Instructional design skill (

    optional

    ): Ability to convert complex tech concepts into simple, engaging learning modules; experience with authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate) is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration & communication skills, comfortable interacting with trainers, delivery teams and clients.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple streams simultaneously.
  • Behaves with integrity, aligns values (RISE Responsibility, Improvement, Service, Excellence).
