As a Student Counsellor, your primary role will be to provide guidance and support to students interested in pursuing overseas education opportunities. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Student Counselling: You will conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students, assisting them in selecting suitable courses and universities, navigating the application procedures, and understanding visa requirements. - Application Assistance: You will help students prepare and submit applications, including aiding them in writing personal statements, obtaining references, and completing necessary paperwork. - Career Guidance: Utilizing your insights into various career paths, you will help students align their academic interests and professional goals with suitable educational opportunities abroad. - Information Sessions: Conduct informative sessions and webinars for students and their families, addressing their concerns and providing detailed explanations about studying overseas. - University Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with international universities and colleges to remain updated on admission criteria, scholarships, and other pertinent information. - Process Management: Oversee the entire student application process from initial inquiry to final enrollment, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for students. - Visa Assistance: Guide students through the visa application process, offering support in documentation, interview preparation, and necessary follow-ups. - Market Research: Stay abreast of the latest trends and updates in overseas education, including changes in visa regulations, admission criteria, and popular study destinations. - Follow-Up: Regularly check in with students to monitor their progress, address any concerns, and provide continuous support throughout their application journey. - Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to ensure a unified approach to counselling and ensure client satisfaction. Qualifications required for this position include: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Completed) - 0 to 3 years of relevant experience - Fluency in English, strong communication skills, and confidence - A proactive attitude with a positive mindset - Understanding of Higher Education courses/industry is an added advantage Additionally, the company provides benefits such as cell phone reimbursement.
