Study Abroad Admission Counselor

Key Responsibilities:

Student Guidance & Counseling:

• Counsel students on study abroad options based on academic background, career goals, and budget.
• Advise on suitable programs, universities, and countries.
• Provide insights on scholarships, grants, and financial aid.

Application Assistance:

• Assist students in preparing application documents (SOPs, LORs, CVs, etc.).
• Ensure applications meet institution-specific requirements.
• Review and refine application materials for submission.

Admission Process Management:

• Track application deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Coordinate with international universities regarding student applications.
• Offer continuous updates and support to students.

Visa & Immigration Support:

• Guide students through visa application processes and documentation.
• Assist with visa interviews and completion of necessary formalities.
• Ensure students meet all legal requirements for studying abroad.

Student Relationship Management:

• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions.
• Act as the main point of contact throughout the application and admission process.
• Facilitate smooth communication between students and universities.

Market Research & Program Updates:

• Stay updated on international education trends and partner university offerings.
• Keep current on admission policies, scholarships, and visa regulations.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and industry events for continuous learning.

Sales & Marketing:

• Promote study abroad programs through webinars, educational fairs, and social media.
• Assist in creating marketing materials to attract prospective students.
• Support overall recruitment and promotional activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of international education systems and visa processes.

Prior experience in education counseling or admissions (preferred).
