Student Counselor

The Student Counsellor will be responsible for guiding and supporting students throughout their study abroad journey — from choosing the right program and institution to completing their application and visa process. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of international education systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counseling to students regarding study options, courses, and universities abroad.
• Assess students’ academic background, career goals, and financial capacity to recommend suitable destinations and programs.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing application documents, SOPs, and university forms.
• Guide students through admission, offer acceptance, and visa application procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international education systems, entry requirements, scholarships, and visa regulations.
• Liaise with university representatives and coordinate information sessions or recruitment events.
• Maintain accurate student records and follow up to ensure smooth application progress.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets set by the management.
• Provide excellent customer service and build long-term relationships with students and parents.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in student counseling, preferably in a study abroad or education consultancy setting.
• Strong understanding of international university admissions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
