Location: Regional Academy, Bhubaneswar

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Student Career Counselor who can guide students in making informed academic and career decisions. The ideal candidate must be confident, student-friendly, and capable of handling counseling sessions professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions for students regarding courses, career paths, college admissions, and skill development.
• Understand students’ interests, strengths, and goals to provide personalized career guidance.
• Assist students and parents with the admission process, documentation, and application support.
• Maintain accurate counseling records, follow-ups, and daily reports.
• Deliver presentations, seminars, and orientation sessions as needed.
• Stay updated on education trends, top colleges, and emerging career opportunities.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth student onboarding and support services.
• Build a positive rapport with students and parents to create a supportive environment.
• Provide regular updates to the Director and management on student progress and counseling insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong listening ability and empathy.
• Good command over English and Hindi/Odia.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.).
• Ability to handle parents and students with patience and professionalism.
• Organized, disciplined, and proactive in tracking student progress.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Experience in counseling/admission guidance/customer interaction.
• Knowledge of education systems in India and abroad.

Working Hours

• 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)
