Student / Academic Counselor

Let's Speak Language Academy, with 14 years of experience, specializes in foreign language training. We have branches in Adyar, Velachery, and OMR (Thoraipakkam), providing top-notch language education.

Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Student Counselor/ Tele Caller for our Velachery and OMR Thoraipakkam branch to provide information to prospective students about our programs. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to inform potential students about courses and programs.
• Generate and qualify leads, maintaining a database of prospective students.
• Answer incoming calls and provide information to prospective and current students.
• Provide individual counseling to students on academic and career-related issues.
• Assist students in setting realistic academic and career goals.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide timely interventions as needed.
• Facilitate communication between students and instructors to address academic concerns.
• Prepare reports on counseling activities and student outcomes for review by the administration.

Qualifications:

• Any Bachelor's degree.
• Proven experience as a student counselor or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with students.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in an educational institution.
• Proficiency in multiple languages.
