Structural detailer

Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid role for a Structural Detailer. The role is located in Thiruvananthapuram, with provisions for partial work-from-home arrangements. The Structural Detailer will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, preparing structural plans, creating and checking fabrication drawings, and coordinating with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure all structural design requirements are met. Efficiency, accuracy, and strong attention to detail are expected in all aspects of the work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit, and other CAD-based programs
• Strong skills in structural detailing, reading, and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Experience in understanding and applying engineering and construction standards
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
• Previous experience in structural detailing or a relevant field is advantageous
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred
