Structural Designer – Mechanical

Job Title: Structural Designer – Mechanical

Location: Lucknow

Experience: 5+ Years

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹70,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop structural components for steel tanks and related mechanical systems.

Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.

Perform stress and structural analysis using ANSYS or similar FEA tools.

Collaborate with the production and fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability.

Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.

Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and project reports.

Optimize existing designs for performance, cost, and durability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the steel fabrication industry.

Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD modeling tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

Strong working knowledge of ANSYS for structural and thermal analysis.

Understanding of manufacturing processes, welding, and materials used in steel tank fabrication.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
