Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Structural Design Engineer to support the design and analysis of building structures,

including residential, commercial, institutional, and public buildings. The ideal candidate should have a solid

foundation in structural engineering principles, material behavior, and design codes.

Assist in the structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures for low-rise and mid-rise buildings.
Prepare and check structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and structural layouts.
Perform load calculations, design of structural elements (beams, columns, slabs, footings, etc.) using IS codes.
Use software tools such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD for design and drafting.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and site teams to ensure structural design integration.
Support the preparation of structural design reports, BOQs, and technical documentation for approval and execution.
Conduct site visits to inspect ongoing construction and ensure design adherence.
Assist in reviewing drawings and resolving technical issues during project execution.

Software Skills:

Working knowledge of structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE) and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920).
Strong understanding of structural concepts and basic foundation engineering.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior engineers.
