Structural CAD Engineer

We are hiring "Structural CAD Engineer" for Infrastructure Projects

• Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural CAD Draftsman to join our design team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural drafting for infrastructure projects such as bridges, elevated and underground metro systems, and stations. The role demands precision, ownership, and the ability to deliver high-quality drawings under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop conceptual drawings, general arrangement drawings (GAD), detailed drawings, and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings for: Bridges, Elevated and underground metro systems, Metro stations
• Execute RCC detailing for: Piles and foundations, Bridge girders (including I-girders and box girders), Abutments, Piers, Pier heads, Retaining walls, Pre-tensioning and post-tensioning layouts
• Understand and interpret structural design concepts and translate them into accurate CAD drawings
• Extract Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings
• Ensure error-free drafting with excellent quality and adherence to project standards
• Collaborate effectively with design engineers and project teams
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–15 years of experience in structural drafting, preferably with long tenures at reputed design consultants
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory
• Working knowledge of Revit and Tekla Structures is an added advantage
• Experience in steel detailing is desirable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of various structural systems and construction methodologies
• Excellent team player with a proactive attitude and commitment to quality
