Streamsets ETL Developer

As a Streamsets ETL Developer at Deutsche Bank, AVP, your role involves being part of the integration team responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining robust and scalable ETL processes to support data integration initiatives. You will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic future state technology landscape for all DWS Corporate Functions globally. Your responsibilities include: - Working with clients to deliver high-quality software within an agile development lifecycle - Developing and thoroughly testing ETL solutions/pipelines - Defining and evolving architecture components, contributing to architectural decisions at a department and bank-wide level - Taking end-to-end accountability and ownership of work/projects, utilizing robust engineering practices - Converting business requirements into technical designs, conducting code reviews, and collaborating across teams - Leading and collaborating across teams, managing stakeholders, and mentoring junior team members - Bringing deep industry knowledge and best practices into the team, working closely with stakeholders, Functional Analysis, and Quality Assurance teams - Troubleshooting and resolving reported bugs/issues in applications Your skills and experience should include: - Bachelor's Degree in Science or an IT-related discipline - 10-14 years of hands-on experience with Oracle/SQL Server and Unix - Experience in developing and optimizing ETL pipelines, working with complex queries, stored procedures, and functions - Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling - Familiarity with HDFS, Kafka, Microservices, Splunk, and cloud-based platforms - Experience with scripting languages, agile delivery frameworks, and CI/CD systems - Nice to have: Hands-on experience with StreamSets, exposure to Python, and GCP cloud Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including a best-in-class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, 100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit, sponsorship for industry certifications, Employee Assistance Program, hospitalization and life insurance, health screening, and more.
