In this exciting role, you will support all aspects of strategy and innovation activities, contributing to the development of our bank of the future. This position offers ample exposure to our executive and senior management teams and is at the director level. As a Strategy & Innovation Manager, you will drive and execute the strategy of innovation projects throughout their lifecycle, encompassing design, build, and testing. Your strong communication and collaborative skills will enable you to lead commercial discussions and decisions, bringing innovative solutions to our customers and front-line colleagues. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering projects individually or through project teams. You will source and prioritize innovative ideas to build a pipeline aligned with the business strategy and customer needs. Analysis of business performance, competitor activity, potential business opportunities, and customer behaviors will be part of your responsibilities. You will prepare reports for executive and board audiences and foster the development of an innovation culture and capability. To excel in this role, you should have significant change management experience, a background as a project management practitioner (preferably using Agile methodologies), and ideally possess a formal project management qualification. Experience in the financial services sector and working on AI / ML projects is essential. The ability to deliver individual or a portfolio of projects using Agile approaches, knowledge of innovation within financial services, a background in customer experience or customer design-led environments, and excellent communication skills to engage with a range of senior stakeholders are traits that will be beneficial for this role.,
