Strategic Planning Resource

Key Responsibilities :

1. Field Assessment & Route Optimization

• Conduct physical site visits across the expanded 2,500 sq. km area to map terrain,

accessibility, and density.

• Design and implement optimized primary and secondary collection routes using GIS

tools to reduce fuel costs and turnaround time.

• Identify and eliminate Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs) through strategic bin

placement or door-to-door schedule adjustments.

2. Fleet & Resource Engineering

• Calculate the exact vehicle requirements (Auto Tipper, Refuse Compactors, Hook

Loaders) based on waste generation volumes in new zones.

• Develop a phased deployment plan for manpower and machinery to ensure no

service gaps during the transition.

3. Infrastructure & Processing Strategy

• Audit existing processing plants and transfer stations for capacity vs. load.
• Identify "white spaces" in the 2,500 sq. km map to propose new Integrated Waste

Processing Facilities or Decentralized Composting units.

• Oversee the logistics of transporting waste from expanded zones to designated

landfills or processing hubs.

4. Data-Driven Governance

• Implement IoT-based monitoring (GPS tracking, RFID tags) for the expanded fleet.
• Establish KPIs for collection efficiency and provide weekly progress reports to senior

leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

• Experience: 8-12 years in Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Urban Planning, or Large- scale Logistics.

• On-Ground Tenacity: Proven track record of conducting "boot-on-the-ground" field

surveys; this is not a 100% office role.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of GIS (Geographic Information Systems),

Route Optimization software, and MS Excel for data modeling.

• Local Insight: Familiarity with the geography of Hyderabad and outskirts (Telangana

region) is highly preferred.

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning,

or MBA in Operations/Logistics
