Story-Based Video Editor (Entry Level)

Role:
We’re looking for a Story-Based Video Editor who can turn raw footage into meaningful, emotionally engaging content. This role is perfect for someone who understands structure, flow, and how to shape content into a strong narrative.

Eligibility:

• Minimum 3 months of hands-on editing experience (internship, freelance, or academic projects)
• Completion of a certified course in video editing, film making, or visual storytelling is mandatory
• Skilled in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong grasp of pacing, narrative beats, and story structure in visual content

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video content with a clear beginning, middle, and end—whether it’s an ad, testimonial, or explainer
• Weave voiceovers, visuals, music, and graphics into cohesive stories
• Repurpose long-form videos into short, story-driven snippets (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
• Collaborate with content writers, voice artists, and creative leads
• Ensure edits are emotionally engaging and optimized for platform-specific formats

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with ad storytelling and CTA placement
• Experience editing interviews, founder stories, or documentaries
• Ability to suggest creative sequencing or script improvements
