Job Description of Stores As a Stores professional, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials to support the operational needs of the organization. Your key responsibilities will include: - Receiving incoming materials following the R6 Rule - ensuring the right order, right item, right quantity, right quality, right place & time, and in the right mode. - Supervising the unloading of materials and verifying them against the delivery documents. - Conducting checks for damages or shortages and documenting them appropriately. - Maintaining records such as goods inward, day book, and daily collection register. - Completing vendor consignment notes and coordinating material inspections. - Generating goods receipt notes for accepted materials and rejection memos for rejected items. - Ensuring timely dispatch of materials to the respective stores or departments. - Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the storage space and material handling equipment. - Conducting regular stock verification exercises and ensuring accurate documentation of material transactions. - Handling materials with care to prevent damage and following safety protocols. - Complying with rules and regulations related to material custody, preservation, and safety. - Facilitating the identification and timely issuance of materials for operational use. - Overseeing the loading of materials for transfers to sub-stores or site locations. By meticulously executing these tasks, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient functioning of the materials management process while upholding high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.,
