Stores Head

As a Stores Head at our mechanical plant located in Erode, you will be responsible for managing all store operations and material handling. Your primary focus will be on maintaining inventory control, utilizing ERP systems, and collaborating with the purchase team to ensure timely availability of materials for plant operations. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing all store activities such as receiving, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and utilizing ERP systems like Tally, SAP, or others. You will lead and guide the store team, prepare stock and consumption reports, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards in the stores while ensuring proper documentation and support for audits. To excel in this role, you should possess 8 to 10 years of experience in stores and material management, preferably within the cement and/or steel industry. A good understanding of mechanical plant materials, knowledge of ERP systems, strong leadership and communication skills, as well as excellent coordination and reporting abilities are essential for success.
