Key Responsibilities - Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of newsprint and other materials, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste. - Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of newsprint and other materials. - Oversee logistics and distribution of newspapers, ensuring timely delivery to clients and readers. - Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to ensure best value. - Conduct regular stock audits and implement corrective actions as needed. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity. - Lead and motivate the stores team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent performance. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in stores management, procurement, or logistics in the newspaper industry. - Proven exposure to managing newsprint and other materials. - Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. - Good written and verbal communication in English, Hindi, and local language. - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and inventory management software. - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. - High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
