Stores Associate

As a Merchandise Receiver at Four Pts by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Ctr, your role involves receiving and staging merchandise by department, marking them appropriately for placement, and delivering to the correct department. You will stack received merchandise on pallets or carts, complete requisition forms, and notify management of low stock levels promptly. Additionally, you will be responsible for storing perishables correctly, rotating stock, inspecting deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, and quality, and refusing damaged or incorrect items. Adherence to food safety and handling policies is crucial, along with organizing, cleaning, and sanitizing refrigerators, freezers, floors, and equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and stage merchandise by department - Mark merchandise for proper placement and deliver to the correct department - Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts - Complete requisition forms and notify management of low stock levels - Store perishables properly and rotate stock - Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, and quality - Refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items - Adhere to food safety and handling policies - Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, and equipment - Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash to proper storage areas Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent At Four Pts by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Ctr, part of the united Four Points by Sheraton community under Marriott International, we value diversity and equal opportunity.
