Store Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

1. Monitoring incoming, outgoing and issue processes of materials.
2. Coordinating with production department regarding receipts and issues of materials.
3. Collaborating with the production and purchasing departments to determine material requirements.
4. Receiving materials supplied by vendor as per the purchase orders placed by the Purchase department.
5. Thorough checking of materials for quality, quantity, specification etc.
6. Categorizing materials by type and store them in appropriate locations.
7. Conducting periodic stock verification to ensure the accuracy of stock at all times.
8. To stock the materials received from vendors properly to ensure easy access, identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc.
9. To ensure proper stocking of materials using appropriate care and preservation methods to avoid any damage and loss.
10. Issue materials to departments as per the BOM.
11. To process bill of the materials received from vendors and send them to accounts department for payment.
12. Generate reports and submit them to the concerned authorities.
13. To maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the store house.
14. Attend audits conducted by auditors, if required.
15. To ensure accurate accounting of the materials received and issued.
16. To take action for the disposal of scrap materials as per the establishments procedure.
17. Implement safety measures for the safety of store house, materials and men working in store.
18. To ensure that the store is always maintained in an up-to-date and presentable condition.
19. Possess SAP Knowledge of SAP.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• 2-5 years of experience in material management, inventory control, or a related field, preferably within the EMS industry.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, materials, and their specifications.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams.
