Roles and Responsibilities of a Retail Associate

• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns efficiently.
• Sales Support:
• Promote and upsell products to increase store sales.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Stay updated on ongoing promotions, discounts, and offers.
• Product Knowledge:
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services.
• Explain product features, benefits, and usage to customers.
• Stock Management:
• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise.
• Restock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
• Store Maintenance:
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store.
• Follow visual merchandising guidelines.
• Arrange displays to attract customer attention.
• Billing and Cash Handling:
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, or digital payments.
• Generate and provide receipts.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer records and ensure end-of-day balancing.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other associates and supervisors.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Support new staff through guidance and assistance.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Follow store policies and procedures.
• Adhere to health, safety, and security regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
