Store Manager

As an Assistant Store Manager at VAS INDIA CONSULTING, your role involves assisting the store manager in achieving sales targets and managing store assets to ensure safety and security. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall image of the store, including cleanliness, proper lighting, ventilation, and displaying merchandise based on colors, gender, and size. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the store manager to provide input into buying patterns and competition analysis - Implementing stock rotation on the shop floor and replenishing fast-selling merchandise - Assisting in consignment purchases and managing customer details for effective customer relationship management - Ensuring best customer service by providing styling advice and taking measurements for alterations with minimal complaints - Providing insights to the Merchandising Manager on emerging trends and customer needs - Supplying data to the Store Manager to maintain sufficient stock levels based on the latest trends and seasons - Ensuring timely receipt of customized orders from customers - Training and assimilating new hires into their roles efficiently - Motivating and retaining staff to enhance their contribution to store operations To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in multi-designer retail outlets, a strong understanding of retail merchandising, and excellent team management and coordination skills with designers.
