About the Role

Store Manager – Railway OHE Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the

  receipt, storage, and issuance

  of Railway OHE materials.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, GRNs, material issue slips, and inventory records.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of OHE materials like fittings, insulators,clamps, hardware, etc.
• Verify materials as per

  Bill of Materials (BOM)

  and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with procurement, project teams, and vendors for material planning.
• Plan logistics for timely material delivery to various site locations.
• Track material consumption vs. project progress and highlight shortages proactively.
• Ensure compliance with Railway standards for storing and handling OHE components.
• Maintain minimum stock levels and raise requisitions as required.
• Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support site teams in ensuring materials are available as per execution schedule.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly store MIS reports.
• Ensure safety, security, and housekeeping of the store area.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–10 years of experience

  in store management within Railway OHE projects (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of

  Bill of Materials (BOM)

  for Railway OHE projects.
• Experience in

  planning, coordination, and logistics management

  .
• Familiarity with OHE materials and Railway standards.
• Good computer skills: MS Office, inventory software, documentation tools.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage material operations efficiently.
• Willingness to relocate to

  Bengaluru / Kazipet / Gangakhed

  as assigned.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
