Store Keeper

Job Summary:

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining accurate stock records, handling inward and outward materials, and ensuring proper documentation and coordination with production, purchase, and accounts departments. The role requires efficient record-keeping, physical stock control, and use of Tally for inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Issue materials to production and other departments against approved requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials, components, finished goods, and consumables.
• Update inventory transactions regularly in Tally and ensure reconciliation between physical stock and system records.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and assist in audits.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials to avoid damage or loss.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as GRNs, material issue slips, stock registers, and delivery challans.
• Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts teams for material planning and inventory control.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and inform management for timely procurement.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area.
• Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or graduate in any discipline (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience as a Store Keeper in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
• Hands-on experience in Tally for inventory and record keeping.
• Good knowledge of material handling, stock control, and documentation.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in electrical or mechanical components inventory.
• Familiarity with basic quality and safety practices.
• Reliable, disciplined, and systematic approach to work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
