Store Keeper

The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s inventory and store operations efficiently. The role involves receiving, verifying, storing, issuing, and recording materials, supplies, and equipment while ensuring proper documentation, stock levels, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and supplies.
• Verify received items against purchase orders, delivery challans, or invoices.
• Organize and store materials in an orderly and accessible manner within the store.
• Maintain accurate inventory records (manual and/or ERP system).
• Issue materials and supplies as per authorized requisitions.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure the store area is clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Keep track of inventory aging and handle slow-moving or obsolete items properly.
• Coordinate with purchase and production departments for material requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of inventory control and storekeeping procedures.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and stock valuation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software (ERP preferred).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Good organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Qualification and Experience:

• Education: Minimum Graduate (B.Com / B.A / Diploma in Stores or Materials Management preferred).
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse operations (manufacturing or trading environment preferred).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
