Store Keeper for highway construction

As a Storekeeper in the field of road and highway construction materials, your primary role will include store keeping and inventory tracking of materials such as sand, cement, stone chips, bitumen, etc. You will be responsible for sourcing local suppliers for materials, goods, products, and services in the most cost-effective way, and coordinating with the Head Office for the same. Your duties will also involve performing inventory inspections, reordering supplies and stock as necessary, and inspecting stock to report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately. Key Responsibilities: - Store keeping and inventory tracking of road and highway construction materials - Sourcing local suppliers for materials, goods, products, and services - Coordinating with the Head Office for procurement - Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies as necessary - Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies - Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or rescheduled orders - Generating daily reports on stock and coordinating with the Head Office purchase Department Qualifications Required: - High interpersonal and negotiation skills - Proficiency in Google Sheet and MS Office In addition to the functional skills required for this role, the company offers benefits such as health insurance and Provident Fund.
