Store In-charge

Job Summary:

The Store Incharge will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, components, and finished goods in a sheet metal machinery manufacturing environment. The role ensures accurate inventory management, proper documentation, and smooth coordination between the stores, production, and purchase departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing of materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory in ERP / system software.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of raw materials, tools, and finished goods.
• Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation with system records.
• Monitor material movement to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with the purchase and production departments for timely availability of materials.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and safety norms in store handling.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Inspect materials received for quantity and quality as per purchase orders.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store area.
• Assist in material dispatch and logistics coordination.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of sheet metal components, mechanical parts, and consumables.
• Proficiency in ERP / SAP / MS Excel for inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Understanding of safety and material handling procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
