Quality Incharge

Job Summary:

The Quality Incharge will be responsible for ensuring that all sheet metal components and machinery meet the company’s quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves overseeing inspection activities, maintaining quality documentation, and implementing continuous improvement practices to enhance product quality and process reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
• Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and final products.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and test documentation.
• Identify defects, root causes, and initiate corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with production, design, and purchase teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to ISO / quality management system standards.
• Conduct regular audits of fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly areas.
• Develop and update quality checklists, sampling plans, and inspection guidelines.
• Train operators and supervisors on quality awareness and standards.
• Manage calibration of measuring instruments and inspection tools.
• Monitor rejection rates and implement continuous improvement programs.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of sheet metal components, fabrication processes, and assembly inspection.
• Proficiency in measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
• Good understanding of drawing interpretation, tolerances, and welding standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.

• Reduction in rework and rejection rates.
• Compliance with quality standards and audit findings.
• Timely completion of inspections and reports.
• Improvement in customer satisfaction and product reliability.
• Effective implementation of corrective & preventive actions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
