Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities: (Male Candidate- Stay at Plant) Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels. Ensuring that materials are readily available when needed. Identifying and addressing any discrepancies or shortages. Implementing and maintaining effective inventory control systems. Receiving and Storage: Receiving and checking incoming materials against purchase orders. Storing materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility. Following established storage procedures to prevent damage and spoilage. Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and meets safety standards. Issuing Materials: Processing and fulfilling material requests from production departments. Ensuring that materials are issued in the correct quantities and at the right time. Maintaining records of all material issues. Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts and issues. Preparing and submitting reports on stock levels and inventory movements. Ensuring that all documentation is properly filed and maintained. Other Responsibilities: Assisting in the physical verification of inventory. Coordinating with suppliers and transportation providers. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Following company policies and procedures. May also be responsible for operating forklifts or other material handling equipment. Skills and Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with inventory management software and systems. Knowledge of safe material handling practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with basic arithmetic and record keeping.
