Store Assistant

As a Storekeeper at the Boisar location, your role involves receiving, inspecting, and storing all incoming spare parts and materials. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records manually or using software. Issuing spare parts to mechanics as per job card requirements will also be a part of your key responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with vendors and the purchase team for the replenishment of fast-moving items. Ensuring proper labelling, storage, and cleanliness of the store area is crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and store all incoming spare parts and materials - Maintain accurate stock records manually or using software - Issue spare parts to mechanics as per job card requirements - Coordinate with vendors and purchase team for replenishment of fast-moving items - Ensure proper labelling, storage, and cleanliness of the store area - Perform stock audits and report discrepancies to the supervisor - Keep a check on stock levels and suggest reorders to avoid shortages - Assist in inventory reconciliation and documentation during audits - Maintain gate pass records and delivery challans - Follow safety and company procedures while handling goods Qualification Required: - Previous experience in a similar role preferred - Basic knowledge of inventory management systems - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good communication skills - Physical fitness for lifting and moving heavy items This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule.
