With a strong presence across Pune and Mumbai , Kisanserv operates convenience neighborhood stores offering farm-direct, hygienically packed, and safe produce at competitive prices. Expanding into other FMCG food categories, we’re looking for a dynamic FMCG Food Buyer to strengthen our product range and build strong brand partnerships. Role Overview: The FMCG Food Buyer will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, negotiating, and finalizing deals with FMCG food brands. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in FMCG procurement , vendor management , and commercial negotiations with reputed brands. This role demands strong market knowledge, networking, and the ability to bring the right brands to Kisanserv’s retail shelves. Key Responsibilities: Identify and source FMCG food brands across categories like staples, packaged foods, beverages, snacks, dairy. Conduct market research to analyze trends, pricing, and competitor assortments. Find and connect with the right decision-makers within target brands and suppliers. Negotiate commercial terms , including margins, credit periods, supply frequency, and promotions. Finalize vendor onboarding , agreements, and product listings. Work closely with store operations and supply chain teams to ensure timely supply and optimal inventory levels. Monitor sales performance , vendor service levels, and consumer feedback. Develop category strategies to improve assortment, availability, and profitability. Coordinate with the marketing team for in-store promotions and visibility campaigns. Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure long-term collaboration and growth.
