Job Description

Role Overview: As a Store Assistant at our Adibatla facility, you will be responsible for managing store operations with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Your primary tasks will involve handling raw material and consumable store activities, including preparing Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), managing stock entries, conducting stock audits, and implementing FIFO and LIFO methods for inventory control. Your experience with ERP systems and a sharp focus on stock accuracy will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) for incoming materials, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company standards. - Accurately enter data into the store inventory system (ERP) and maintain records for raw materials and consumables. - Efficiently manage and track the inventory of raw materials, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely availability for production. - Oversee consumable items, maintain adequate stock levels, and ensure proper distribution to respective departments. - Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) stock management techniques to facilitate effective inventory rotation, reduce wastage, and prevent stockouts. - Perform regular entries and updates in the ERP system for stock movements, receipts, issues, and adjustments. - Conduct periodic stock audits to ensure accuracy, address discrepancies, and report findings to management. Assist in physical counting of inventory and reconciliation of discrepancies. - Monitor stock levels regularly to prevent overstocking or stockouts and ensure that inventory aligns with production requirements. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in store management, preferably in manufacturing or production environments. - Understanding of inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO, LIFO), and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) processes. - Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data entry and inventory tracking. - Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, stock management, and stock audits. - Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination with other departments. - Ability to perform basic analysis of stock movements, trends, and discrepancies. - Physical ability to lift and carry materials, stand for long periods, and perform tasks that may require physical effort. - High school diploma or equivalent education; additional certifications in inventory or supply chain management are a plus.
