The Responsibilities of the Assistant/Executive - Stores include the following: · Check all materials for quality, Date of Expiry and quantity. · Maintain vendors’ records · Should keep sufficient stock in the store. · All POs should be raised as per the price agreement with vendor · Store should be clean and hygienic · Materials should be issued as per the indent · Follow-up with accounts to issue cheques to vendor Should prevent rodents, pests and insects spoiling Should check whether the Vendors are supplying according to the terms and conditions Maintains and submits monthly statistics Audits the stores Sticks the required labels wherever applicable Any other job assigned from the superiors from time to time.
