Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas, supporting chefs and kitchen staff with dishwashing, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including floors, counters, and trash areas.
Ensure proper waste disposal and adhere to recycling standards.
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
Restock kitchen supplies and inform management when inventory is low.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Support overall kitchen operations and help maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a steward or kitchen helper preferred, but not mandatory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift moderate weights.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
