Job Title: Steward

Department: Food & Beverage

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and equipment.
• Clean kitchen floors, walls, worktables, and food preparation areas according to hygiene standards.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and kitchen waste regularly and responsibly.
• Refill detergents, cleaning supplies, and sanitizing agents as needed.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of food storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and occupational health guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar stewarding or housekeeping role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
