About the Role:

Sterling File Gateway / Sterling Integrator Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of

  IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG)

  and

  Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI)

  solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Develop and maintain business process workflows, service configurations, and trading partner setups.
  
• Oversee secure file transfers and integration flows between internal and external systems.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot file transfers, system errors, and performance issues.
  
• Ensure compliance with security policies, encryption standards, and data privacy requirements.
  
• Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for IBM Sterling implementations.
  
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for environment setup, upgrades, and patch management.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years

  of hands-on experience with

  IBM Sterling File Gateway

  and

  Sterling B2B Integrator

  .
• Strong understanding of

  B2B/EDI standards

  (AS2, SFTP, FTP/S, HTTPS, OFTP, etc.).
• Experience in creating and managing

  business process workflows

  within Sterling.
• Proficiency in

  PGP encryption, certificates, and key management

  .
• Solid troubleshooting skills in integration environments.
  
• Good knowledge of

  UNIX/Linux scripting

  and

  SQL

  .
• Experience in

  team leadership or technical lead roles

  .

Preferred:

• Exposure to

  IBM Control Center

  for monitoring.
• Familiarity with

  API-based integrations

  .
• Knowledge of

  cloud-based Sterling deployments

  (AWS, Azure).

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
