Job Description

Steel Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all
reinforcement (steel) works
at the construction site.
Ensure steel cutting, bending, and fixing are carried out as per drawings, BBS, and project specifications.
Coordinate closely with
Mivan shuttering teams
to ensure timely reinforcement placement.
Check alignment, spacing, lap lengths, cover blocks, and quality of steel works regularly.
Allocate tasks to steel fitters and helpers and monitor their productivity.
Identify discrepancies in drawings/BBS and coordinate with engineers for corrections.
Maintain proper records of steel received, used, and remaining stock.
Ensure adherence to safety norms and quality standards at the site.
Resolve site issues related to reinforcement work and ensure timely completion of activities.

Required Candidate Profile:

Proven experience as a
Steel Foreman
in
high-rise building projects
.
Knowledge and experience in working with
Mivan shuttering projects
(coordination perspective is essential).
Candidates with experience on the
contractors side
will be preferred.
Strong understanding of reinforcement drawings, BBS, and construction standards.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Good communication and coordination skills.
