Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Steel Fixer located in Kozhikode. The Steel Fixer will be responsible for cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars and mesh used in reinforced concrete on construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, positioning steel bars and mesh correctly, securing the bars with wire and spacing, and using power tools to cut and bend steel. Additionally, the role involves ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety protocols, including fall protection and rigging requirements. Qualifications Proficiency in using Power Tools for steel cutting and bending Skilled in Welding and working with Iron Understanding and adherence to Fall Protection procedures Experience in Rigging Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints and drawings Physical stamina and strength Ability to work well within a team Previous experience in construction or steel fixing is a plus Show more Show less
