Statutory Auditor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Statutory Auditor to conduct independent audits in accordance with applicable financial reporting frameworks and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure that financial statements present a true and fair view and comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and complete statutory audits as per the applicable standards (e.g., Companies Act, 2013, Indian GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS).
• Review financial statements, working papers, and documentation in compliance with auditing standards.
• Conduct audit fieldwork, identify risk areas, and perform substantive and control testing.
• Assess internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with clients for data gathering, audit queries, and follow-ups.
• Supervise and guide junior team members, reviewing their work and ensuring quality.
• Prepare audit reports, management letters, and other deliverables.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
• Stay updated with relevant statutory, regulatory, and accounting changes.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS, AS) and auditing standards (SAs).
• Good understanding of the Companies Act and other applicable statutory regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
