Statistical Programmer I

You will be working as a Statistical Programmer I at Syneos Health, a leading biopharmaceutical solutions organization dedicated to accelerating customer success. The company focuses on translating clinical, medical, and commercial insights into outcomes to address modern market realities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Use SAS or other software to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications. - Ensure that outputs meet quality standards and project requirements. - Perform validation programming and collaborate with other Statistical Programmers, Biostatisticians, and project team members to resolve discrepancies. - Keep project team members informed of programming progress and any issues requiring their attention. - Follow applicable SOPs, WIs, and relevant regulatory guidelines such as ICH. - Maintain well-organized project documentation, verification/quality control documents, and programs for inspection readiness. - Manage scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects, set goals based on management priorities, and adapt to timeline changes. - Prepare in advance for internal meetings, contribute ideas, and show respect for others" opinions. - Display willingness to work with others, assist with projects and initiatives as necessary, and complete project programming activities within the allotted timeframe. - Perform other work-related duties as assigned with minimal travel requirements. **Qualifications:** - Undergraduate Degree, preferably in a scientific or statistical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience. - Proficiency in programming in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. This role involves creating, testing, and maintaining programs for clinical studies under the direction of more senior programmers. You will participate in the creation and maintenance of Statistical Programming project documentation.
