Job Description

As a Sales Manager in our organization, your main responsibilities will include driving the growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations. You will be accountable for enhancing visibility through extensive QR and Sound box deployment, as well as achieving sales targets for the product. Your role will also involve identifying and recruiting a sales team to align with the business objectives in the market. To succeed in this role, you must be able to plan the market size, span, and geographies for Assistant Sales Managers (ASMs) effectively. It will be crucial to devise efficient methods for communicating plans and targets to the team to minimize the gap between expectations and delivery. Additionally, you will be expected to monitor quality parameters as per the management's guidelines and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales made by the team. Managing a large team of ASMs and over 200 indirect employees, you should possess excellent networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively within the specified area. Your skills in coaching, mentoring, and quick learning will be essential for implementing new ideas and concepts effectively. Key skills that will contribute to your success in this role include being a self-starter who takes ownership and can navigate ambiguity comfortably. You should be passionate about working in a fast-growing environment and capable of articulating complex solutions to customers. Strong sales and negotiation skills, along with experience in quota-driven sales, are prerequisites for this position. The ideal candidate will hold a postgraduate degree from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes such as IITs/NITs.
