Role Overview

The Engineer / Sr. Engineer – SS Fabrication will be responsible for executing stainless steel fabrication and welding operations, ensuring high-quality output, adherence to specifications, and efficient coordination with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute SS fabrication and welding as per drawings, process sheets, and quality standards.
• Perform TIG/MIG welding on SS components ensuring correct fit-up, finish, and dimensional accuracy.
• Support preparation and implementation of WPS/PQR and compliance with standards (AWS / EN / ISO).
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Design teams to resolve fabrication or quality issues.
• Monitor consumables, maintain tools, and ensure preventive maintenance of welding equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and ISO quality systems.
• Support continuous improvement activities for productivity and cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy).
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Stainless Steel fabrication and welding.
• Knowledge of SS grades (304, 316, 409, etc.), welding parameters, and finishing requirements.
• Basic knowledge of distortion control, fit-up, and surface finishing.
• Familiarity with fabrication drawings, gauges, and measuring instruments.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
