Staff Product Manager Data Platforms

Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution of data products and capabilities within Teradata's Vantage platform, focusing on meeting customer needs in the India market. Your role will involve defining requirements for data ingestion, storage, governance, security, and accessibility for analytics, AI/ML, and operational workloads. Your impact will be enabling customers to derive more value from their data faster and with greater trust. Key Responsibilities: - Define requirements for data ingestion, storage, governance, security, and accessibility within Teradata's Vantage platform - Prioritize data features such as data pipelines, connectors, governance frameworks, lineage, and metadata management - Collaborate with Engineering, Product Marketing, Professional Services, and Sales teams to bring data and analytics innovations to market - Represent regional customer needs while aligning with the global product strategy - Report to the VP Product Management - Engine and Platforms and support the broader product portfolio Qualifications Required: - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred from ISB, IIT, or a top-tier NIT - Experience in data product management, including data pipelines, metadata, data governance, or data integration features - Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, analytics, and cloud-native data services - Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable product roadmaps and engineering deliverables - Familiarity with data lifecycle management, modern data technologies, compliance, security, and regulatory requirements related to enterprise data - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, communication and presentation skills, creativity, and adaptability - Experience delivering data enablement content for field teams or customers is a plus Additional Company Details (if present): Teradata prioritizes a people-first culture, embraces a flexible work model, focuses on well-being, and is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, fostering an equitable environment that celebrates individuals for who they are.,
