Staff Nurse OPD

· Assist in providing patient counseling and education on pertinent medical issues, treatment protocols, medications and infertility treatments.

· Collaborate with Consultant in developing and implementing treatment plans/therapies appropriate to individual patients.

· Explain basic physiology and medication administration to the patient and partner& schedule as well as explain a complex series of follow-up appointments and medication protocols to the patient/couple.

· Follow up with patients regarding patient medication, treatment plans and test results.

· Maintain patient charting, testing and flow sheets.

· Coordinate all infertility diagnostic tests and treatment plans between physicians and patients.

· Responsible for the ongoing communication between physicians and patients.

· Coordinating all schedules (patient, physician, laboratory personnel, anesthesia, and nursing) before initiating a cycle.

· Document and maintain records of ultrasonography.

· Keep up of scan room and instruments, equipment’s needed for OPD procedures.

· Assist in intra-uterine insemination, as and when required.

· Assist with retrievals, transfers, pre-operative and post-operative care, as and when required.

· Preparation of patients undergoing IVF and monitoring subsequent cycles.

· Assist in monitoring established pregnancies via ultrasonography and laboratory values.

· Retrieve and file patient medical records as needed, to obtain or insert documentation, and make necessary entries in Palash and other HMIS.

· Maintain confidentiality when dealing with any patient information.

· Following the instructions of the Consultant.

· Ensure preoperative checks (consents and viral markers) are there the day before procedures- IUI and IVF.

· Any other work assigned by Clinicians and Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
