Staff Nurse

A staff nurse provides direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures. Their responsibilities also involve assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, documenting medical histories, and educating patients and their families. They work collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and often play a role in ward management, emergency response, and the supervision of other staff. Core responsibilities

• Direct patient care: Administering medications, injections, and treatments; monitoring vital signs; assisting with medical procedures; and providing wound care and other technical skills.
• Patient assessment and planning: Assessing patient health, recording medical histories, and developing or contributing to patient care plans.
• Collaboration and communication: Working with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and discussing patient cases.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records of their medical histories, symptoms, and progress.
• Patient and family education: Informing patients and their families about health conditions, disease prevention, and home care after treatment.

Additional duties

• Ward/unit management: Supervising other staff, managing duty hours, and ensuring the ward is clean and tidy.
• Emergency response: Providing immediate and advanced care during medical emergencies.
• Supervision: Guiding and providing orientation to new staff, nursing students, and junior nurses.
• Quality improvement: Participating in initiatives to improve clinical practices and patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
