Staff Nurse

Qualification:

• GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) / B.Sc. Nursing
• Valid Nursing Registration (State/National Nursing Council)

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience (preferably) in Labour Room and Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labour Room and Emergency settings.
• Assist doctors and gynecologists during deliveries (normal & cesarean).
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labour.
• Handle obstetric and gynecological emergencies efficiently.
• Provide emergency care to critically ill patients as per hospital protocols.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety practices at all times.
• Support patient and family with counseling, health education, and emotional care.
• Coordinate with doctors, anesthetists, and other healthcare staff for effective patient management.
• Prepare and maintain labour room & emergency equipment in ready-to-use condition.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of obstetric care, maternal health, and emergency nursing protocols
• Ability to work under pressure in high-stress environments
• Good communication, compassion, and patient-care skills
• Team player with quick decision-making ability
• Basic computer knowledge for record keeping and reporting

Shift: Rotational (Day/Night/On-Call as per duty roster)

Salary: As per industry standards / Negotiable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
