Staff Nurse (ICU)

• Provide bedside care to critically ill patients as per ICU protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs, neurological status, intake/output, ventilator parameters, and hemodynamic status.
• Identify early signs of deterioration and escalate immediately to the RMO/Consultant.
• Assist in intubation, extubation, and airway management.
• Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, syringe pumps and other ICU equipment.
• Administer oxygen therapy, IV fluids, injections, and medications safely.
• Maintain pressure sore prevention, infection control, and patient hygiene.
• Perform cannulation, catheterization, Ryle’s tube insertion, tracheostomy care, and wound dressing.
• Assist in central line insertion, arterial line insertion, and bedside procedures.
• Handle code blue situations and provide BLS/ACLS support.
• Collect samples for laboratory investigations following aseptic technique.
• Maintain accurate charts: flow sheets, ventilator charts, drug charts, nursing notes, intake-output records.
• Ensure proper documentation of consents, critical alerts, and incident reporting.
• Follow all infection control practices (HIC), biomedical waste management, and medication safety protocols.
• Comply with NABH nursing standards, SOPs, and patient safety guidelines.
• Maintain availability of emergency drugs, crash cart items, consumables, and emergency equipment.
• Report breakdowns or shortages to ICU In-charge immediately.
• Provide clear handover of patient condition during shift change.
• Coordinate with RMOs, consultants, physiotherapists, lab, radiology, and pharmacy.

3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing with valid State Nursing Council registration.
• ICU experience preferred (1–4 years).
• Salary is Negotiable for Deserving candidate.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
