Job description:

Job Responsibilities

• Explaining about inpatient ward facilities rules regulation of admission
• Monitoring vital signs and giving total care to patients admitted in the ward
• Assisting consultant during ward rounds
• Attending emergencies (Code Blue)
• Attending patient calls, giving proper medication to patients
• Explain the investigations to be undertaken by the patients
• Sending patient for investigation
• Preparing patient for surgery
• Providing post-operative care
• After consultant rounds checking case sheets for completeness
• During night duty checking system entries investigation, report entries for completeness
• Scheduling appointments with external investigations for patients (Scan centre MRI, CT) and sending patient on time with proper instruction
• Taking care of discharge patient (explaining prescription)
• Entries of blood investigations and test reports in the M.No. case sheets
• Checking emergency drugs and keeping them up dated also to check and follow up

Experience:

Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
