Staff - EU Regulatory Reporting

As an EU Regulatory Reporting Specialist at EY, you will play a crucial role in understanding and navigating the European Regulatory reporting framework. Your responsibilities will include: - Working as a senior member of the Regulatory Reporting BAU / Production team, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are executed in a timely manner. - Interacting effectively with onshore/offshore team members and facilitating necessary conversations between Business and technology. - Identifying areas of improvement, suggesting new technology opportunities, and streamlining the work environment. - Executing detailed procedures based on knowledge of funds, asset management concepts, controllership function, investment books and records, and financial reporting processes. - Bringing in a change to streamline the work environment and acting as key differentiators for any offerings in WAM/BCM space. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Clear communication skills, both written and verbal. - 1-3 years of experience in Banking Capital Markets or Wealth & Asset Management industry with exposure to European based regulatory reporting. - A Masters degree in accounting or finance is mandatory, while an MBA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent degree would be advantageous. - Functional knowledge of the WAM domain, capital market OTC derivative products, Lux/UK GAAP, and risk function deliverables. - Direct exposure to any of the European regulatory reporting like MiFID II transaction reporting, PRIIPs, ESMA, CBI, AIFMD, CSSF, SFDR, or other transaction, valuation, or back reporting is a plus. - Understanding of financial industry concepts such as fund accounting, expense reporting, tax reporting, asset types, and derivatives.
